The Billing Coordinator performs billing and billing-related administrative functions. They are responsible for completing the monthly billing and customer analysis, and assist with special projects.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Work in multiple systems to prepare invoices monthly in a time sensitive environment
Review contracts to setup one-time, recurring fees and transaction pricing models
Process client inquiries and requests in a timely and cooperative manner
Works closely with sales and various departments to complete billing accurately
Provide backup support for customer phone calls and emails
Work closely with Revenue Cycle Manager on various projects
Assist with customer requests and audits
Cross training with other accounting functions.
College degree preferred and 5 - 7 years of general accounting experience with contracts and billing emphasis.
Healthcare experience is a plus.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Microsoft Office experience required
Intermediate excel and above average computer skills
Superior interpersonal communication skills, flexibility and responsiveness
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
Excellent customer service skills
