No Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; some evenings and weekends required Department Overview The Division of Advancement pursues the mission to promote the University of North Texas through inspiring the public to become involved with the growth and progress of the university

The division accomplishes this by establishing and continuing mutually beneficial relationships with alumni, donors and friends of the university that result in gifts of time, expertise and philanthropic support. Job Description Reporting to the Executive Director of the UNT Alumni Association, the Budget Manager and Executive Assistant is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and reconciling all departmental and Association financial accounts and records. This includes processing all revenues and expenditures and coordinating the Association's third party annual audit. This position also serves as the Executive Assistant for the Executive Director. These responsibilities include management of the ED's calendar and processing all travel and reimbursements for the ED and other alumni staff. This position also serves as the administrative liaison to the Advancement division.

The ability to prioritize time and tasks to simultaneously manage multiple projects is paramount for the success of the program. Organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Maintain appropriate policies and procedures in receipt of contributions and other revenues as appropriate.
* Manage all related accounts payable and receivable, including IDOs, check requests, etc.
* In collaboration with the Executive Director, manage the annual budgeting process.
* Manage federal and state tax responsibilities.
* Responsible for ordering office equipment such as copier, printers, ink, telephones, etc. and processing work orders/requests of Alumni Center maintenance.
* Supervise Student Employees.

Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following Bachelor's Degree with coursework in accounting, finance, business or related field and four years of progressively responsible financial administration or budget management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
