Responsibilities
The Business Affairs Coordinator will assist the department in drafting and negotiating agreements. The role will report to the Vice President of Business Affairs, supporting E!, and Wilshire Studios.
 
Job Duties
Review and summarize talent, producer and production company agreements to assist in on-going contract negotiations
Draft and negotiate talent, producer and production company agreements with business affairs negotiator oversight
Responsible for managing business affairs forms and charts 
Conduct research as necessary on deals and terms for business affairs matters
Maintain flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary or assigned
Assist other staff members as time and primary workloads permit

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 2 years of corporate or legal experience, including negotiation experience

• Experience in television legal or business affairs
• Knowledge/interest in the television business
• Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Must have an excellent phone manner, administrative and organizational skills
• Be flexible, vocal, personable, self-starter and detail-oriented with the ability to interface with the creative and production community as well as all levels of NBCU personnel
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task high priority tasks
• Strong internet research skills a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
