Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Hardware Marketing organization is responsible for driving growth of Google's hardware business, growing awareness, consideration and adoption of platforms and devices. The Consumer Brand Engagement team humanizes the Google Hardware brand with each consumer interaction - be it social, influencer, partnerships or through content. We listen to and engage with our consumers, surprise and delight them and create desire for our family of products. We aim to build their brand love and loyalty.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Television, Film, Communications, Publishing, Business, similar field or equivalent practical experience.

- 3 years of experience in television/music/entertainment field, in a business affairs, rights and clearances, or licensing capacity.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Gmail.

- Excellent relationship management, planning, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Ability to anticipate needs and create efficient and effective processes. Ability effectively and professionally responding to situations that require quick turnaround.

- Project management skills with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously.

- Ability to handle a high volume of licenses requests with accurate execution.

- Understanding of content licensing rights with a track record in licensing content. Knowledge of legal concepts related to content licensing for all types of media platforms. Ability to understand agreements at a high level.

- Be point of contact for all Hardware music licensing requests. Maintain the music license intake request form. Ensure requests are forwarded to the agency and filter non-track agreements to other internal counterparts (or teams) as needed.

- Create a process to guide internal stakeholders’ requests during launches. Serve as the point of contact for digital asset resource library.

- Manage clearance for scopes of work (SOW). Liaise with cross-functional partners to ensure they are done with consideration to identified time restrictions, territories, cost parameters. Ensure terms agreed upon and align with company policy.

- Ensure all licenses are tracked in the database. Provide content specialists with data needed to provide a quarterly summary/report on new content licenses.

- Help renew any expiring content licensing agreements. Manage licensed content budget and process approval for licensing of confirmed uses.
