Key Responsibilities and Job Requirements
Business Performance Framework, Analysis and Business Case Development
Identify development accelerating opportunities through quantitative and qualitative means through the sourcing, collection, extraction, and analysis of data that is accurate and fit for purpose.
Design, Implement, Maintain and utilize performance measurement and management frameworks that support the continuous improvement of PD’s molecule development system
Create compelling evidence-based and actionable data-driven value propositions and business cases for strategic initiatives that drive acceleration in development
Gather data out of a variety of sources, combine and clean the data and generate meaningful insights.
Generate and communicate business cases in a compelling, clear influencing manner.
Work with project teams to procure, implement and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks
Benefits Realization and Sustainment
Assess completed initiatives against their intent and value delivery
Monitor operations which have been improved by strategic initiatives to ensure they maintain integrity to intent and are improving performance as expected
Drive Continuous Improvement
Showcase business benefits using methodologies spanning LEAN, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP, Benefits Realization, Business Analytics
Maintain effective working relationship with business leaders, stakeholders, users and partners to integrate programs into overall strategic objectives
Who You Are
Qualifications, Experience & Education
At least 5 years experience in Finance, Data Analytics, IT; analyzing data, collecting it, measuring and reporting insights.
Over 3 years of experience in Impact Analysis, Project Management and Process Improvement, preferably in Process mature companies with strong Project Management and Six Sigma/LEAN cultures.
Process Improvement credentials.
Preferable experience in Clinical Development, Research and/or Healthcare
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or Data Science and Relevant Certifications or Company Training, Relevant Coursework, Business/Finance background; ability to acquire any specialized domain knowledge required to be more effective in all required activities
Solid understanding of database and process architecture.
Data analytics and data crunching experience as well understanding of statistics, preferably paired ability to work with SAS, R and Spotfire.
Data and Process visualization and dashboard reporting experience.
Experience with organizing and executing information gathering workshops like Kaizen events.
Team player who can deliver on personal assignments, whole contributing to the overall success of DAT and therewith PD.
Data analytics + corresponding tools (Excel, Tableau, Database Software such as MS Access, BPM Software)
Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with an ability to consistently execute multiple, and sometimes competing activities to a high quality and timely conclusion
Ability to quickly assimilate and prioritize changing business requirements into in-flight strategies and plans
Ability to see the connections between seemingly disparate issues, as well as distill complex and sometimes voluminous content into clear, concise, and engaging communications
Ability to present complex issues in a concise and clear manner such that prioritization and decision making can be based upon it.
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
Strong customer-orientation and proven track record of collaborative work relationships.
