About the job
Google's leadership team hand-picks thorny business challenges, and members of BizOps work in small teams to find solutions. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.
Global Partnerships (GP) Business Operations (BizOps) is a central strategy group that works across all areas of Global Partnerships. We partner directly with the Head of Global Partnerships and the GP Leadership team to find solutions to complex challenges. We drive strategy initiatives across GP and across Google to help advance decision making at the leadership level and drive operational rigor through quarterly business reviews, top level objectives and key results (OKRs), resource allocation, annual planning, and more.
In this role, you will work directly with leaders on a range of critical strategy and operational projects. You will learn how Partnerships contributes to Google’s business, strategic goals, and understand the internal and external drivers that impact our business.
Google’s Global Partnerships team powers extraordinary user experiences through meaningful partnerships. We build relationships that solve users’ needs, advance our partners’ goals, and further Google’s mission. Our team provides solutions for a range of partners — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute Google products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Search, Assistant, Geo, News, Travel, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
Work with other members of the BizOps team and cross-functional leads (e.g., finance, HR, compliance, product, etc.) to solve critical issues.
Develop structured analyses and executive-level insights.
Communicate findings to the GP leadership and Strategy and Operations leadership teams.
Drive operations for GP (e.g., quarterly business reviews, top level OKRs, resource allocation, annual planning).
Support the operations and direction of the GP BizOps team.
