Essential Duties SummaryPrepares and provides blueprints to contractors. Prepares working plans and detailed drawings from field notes, original plans, and similar information. Uses computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software to perform advanced draft functions, including tracing, inking, and detailing maps and plans. Produces drawings taking into account dimensions of parts, materials to be used, computations, and other details. Modifies existing drawing consistent with up-to-date information. Engraves and installs signs on all campus buildings. Manages the resource and software library. Maintains and properly indexes blueprint files. Assists with special studies by compiling and tabulating data. Prepares various graphs, charts, schedules, sketches and artwork. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
