Responsibilities / Qualifications:


Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs vascular ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians. Provides the patient care essential to vascular ultrasound procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:


Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

Education: High school diploma.

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required in cardiac, vascular, or a combination.


Certifications: CPR required. ARDMS/RDCS registry or CCI certified AND ARDMS/RVT registry required.


Other: Co-workers hired or promoted to this level must demonstrate competency in BOTH cardiac and vascular sonography and must be actively working in both cardiac and vascular areas.
