Consumer and Investment Management (CIMD)
The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. CIMD partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.

Is usability, problem solving, future-thinking, concepting, wireframing and running Crazy 8 sessions your passion? Marcus by Goldman Sachs is looking for you, a Senior UX Designer, to join its design team in NYC to help create, ideate and maintain world-class experiences for our customers.
Reporting to the Head of Design, you will work closely with product leads, developers and various stakeholders to bring the product to life through exploration, ideation, usability studies, journey maps, personas, site maps, flows, concepting, wireframing, prototyping and visual exploration
Define the UX priorities and design goals for any given initiative to support intuitive cross-platform touchpoints
Advocate for implementing user-based design process and principles
Foster an environment of latest practices and trends
Ideate and experiment to uncover breakthrough ideas and support test & learn.
Establish User Testing Sessions
Run design workshops (i.e. Crazy 8s, )
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of designing experiences for consumer-facing products, responsive websites or apps
Impressive portfolio of work showcasing engaging, user-centered design solutions.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to successfully articulate design concepts and rationale to peers and senior stakeholders
Eye for overarching consistency
Strong belief in leveraging data from usability studies to inform design decisions
Self-driven, highly motivated, collaborative
Love of the whiteboard/sketchpad for ideation and communicating those concepts to the team and stakeholders
Ability to create flows, wires and prototypes using, Sketch, Adobe CC, InVision, Axure, Flinto, or preferred prototyping tool
