What You'll Do
You are a Security Analyst, that’s self-motivated, highly organized, security-minded problem solver.
You’re responsible for evaluating, testing, and monitoring the security of the Cisco BroadCloud information systems. You will assist in the daily operations and administration of assigned security solutions and securing all information systems in alignment to the Cisco BroadCloud information systems security plans, policies, and procedures.
Who You Are
You will report to the Manager of Cisco BroadCloud Engineering Security Operations.
You will work closely with the IT systems administrators, network engineers, applications developers, and other technical support teams.
Who You Are
You’ll assist with the daily administration of security solutions and assist in risk assessment reviews. You have experience with energetically monitor security events and identifying and understanding potential threats and vulnerabilities.
You will recommend and implement proper control and prevention techniques, investigate and respond to computer related security events and maintain and update security and standard operating procedure documentation. You will also participate in compliance audits and evidence gathering.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in cyber-security
Has experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies
Experience with vulnerability assessment and management technologies
Has experience with anti-virus/anti-malware solutions
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Experience with NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, & ISO 27001 security compliance frameworks and policies highly preferred
Security certifications preferred
Must be a US citizen who can be certified to work on federal environments.
