Due to exciting growth within the Collections and Recovery Strategy group at Barclays, a new opportunity has presented itself and will provide someone with the opportunity to lead and develop collections and recovery strategies for a high visible credit card portfolio 

What will you be doing?
•Your main responsibility is being responsible for developing second line of defense Collections and Recovery strategies for a credit card portfolio.
•Responsible for driving strategies for Collections at customer and product level across all products, and contact channels; defining, owning and optimizing appropriate risk segmentation
•Develop and Manage new and existing Collection Strategies in order to optimize profitability, utilizing Scoring and Segmentation techniques, including the usage of Champion/Challenger or Test/Control design.
•Partner with operations to build the optimal collections strategies and controls, defining, owning, and optimizing strategy framework (including but not limited to segment treatment, contact, recovery, forbearance, and settlement) to facilitate good outcomes for both the Customer and the Bank

What we’re looking for:
•5+ years of risk analytics experience (using statistical techniques including regression and segmentation (CHAID) analysis)

•5+ years of experience managing and developing analytical teams

•5+ years of experience with analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix, and Knowledge Seeker


Skills that will help you in the role:
•Collections and/or Risk strategy experience
•Multiple financial product experience preferred: Consumer Card, Consumer Loans, Checking, Private Label Card, Business Card
•Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information
•Four year college degree
