The Sales Consultant is a sales role, with frequent local travel within the region of NY and NJ. Imagine helping customers own their power instead of renting their power while saving them money!!ResponsibilitiesEnthusiastic representation of our company and products.Maintain current knowledge of the latest Amergy Solar and industry developments by attending sales meetings, sales events, training, and industry events.Source and develop self-generated leads and appointments with potential customers.Evaluate customer’s knowledge and needs, building productive long-lasting relationships.Meet minimum required sales targets.Ability to close sales by gathering information and building a relationship to understand the customer’s needs and sign contracts.Work independently and with senior management team to develop and execute on strategic plans.Engage in local lead generation activities.Ensure a clean transition of post-sale activity to other teams by delivering complete customer information.Properly prepare for appointments by building proposals, preparing for objections, and calling customers to confirm appointments.Attend the required training, and follow sales processes.QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skill with outgoing personality, ability to communicate effectively.Ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally to address customer needs.Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-disciplineOpen-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills that will carry through a variety of career pathsThe desire to mentor other colleagues after refining your skill setSalesforce experience preferred.Flexible work schedule - must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.Compensation and BenefitsThis position is 100% commission.Salary: $50,000.00 to $500,000.00 /yearPotential bonus and company rewards.Job Types: Full-time, Contract, CommissionHow to start?
