Communications & Marketing CoordinatorOrthopaedics - AdministrationLocation: New Orleans, LA

SummaryThe Communications & Marketing Coordinator coordinates and supports the marketing and communications activities of the department. The coordinator works with the department leaders and staff to make sure all communications align with strategic branding. The coordinator assists with the management and/or creation of all digital and physical publications and documents, various websites, and social media. He/she manages a robust communication calendar that outlines an extensive strategy for communicating with potential patients and referring providers as well as students, faculty and staff. He/she analyzes the performance of the marketing and communication strategies as they contribute to department goals.


Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience in marketing, communications or other closely related field


OR


- High School Diploma/Equivalent and 8 years experience in marketing, communications or other closely related field


Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing and/or communications in higher education or healthcare
- Experience coordinating newsletters or other publications
