Our Consumer Experience Digital Marketing Content Operations team creates, authors and manages the content for numerous client-facing Optum websites.
We use content management systems to create and manage these sites, and as well as Project Management tools to track requirements, defects and progress. Our team members typically work independently on their own projects and are responsible for delivering the right content at the right time.
We are expanding our team of content authors to work on an international, specialized, and detailed project. This is a complex, fast-paced, matrixed environment with a lot of moving parts. You’ll be expected to interpret requirements from multiple sources and digitally author and update content to create effective end user experiences.
This is a position for a candidate who understands both the business and the IT side of web development and is able to serve as a “liaison” for both groups. You will be responsible for interpreting and researching content requests, performing updates, edits and QA for international site webpages.
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) or equivalent experience
Experience with content management systems
3+ years proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (ability to create, edit, and save)
Understanding of internal processes and procedures
Bachelors Degree (or higher)
Some basic knowledge of HTML
Familiarity with the web development life cycle
Experience with Sharepoint (ability to create, edit, and save)
Some experience with project management tools
Live in Minneapolis, MN
Effective problem solving & troubleshooting skills
Adaptive to change; quick learner
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Self-starter; ability to work with minimal supervision while at the same time, be a strong and contributing team member
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment
