Description

The Airbnb content strategy team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced content strategy leader who can build out a diverse team of writers, editors, and content strategists for our luxury travel business.


Responsibilities:


- Manage product content strategists and other freelance writers and editors, partner with marketing writers, and unify the team with a cohesive vision for content

- Support the leadership team and influence strategic decisions for the business

- Identify opportunities for the content team to lead projects and initiatives

- Proactively partner with the marketing team to ensure our content is consistent across multiple touchpoints

- Be accountable for content quality across the entire business

- Mentor and coach team members to set concrete goals and develop their strengths, and offer regular, actionable feedback

- Work with other content strategy leaders to elevate the practice, shape the strategic vision, and continue scaling the team

- Develop processes and templates to help content strategists work more efficiently and trainings or workshops to enhance their skills

- Promote content strategy throughout the company and within the broader design and content communities


Requirements:


- 5+ years management and leadership experience

- 5+ years practicing content strategy

- Experience in multiple areas of content (brand, product, editorial)

- Proven ability to drive consensus and collaborate successfully with senior stakeholders and cross-­functional partners in a fast-paced environment

- Passion for Airbnb’s mission and deep empathy for our diverse community

- Portfolio of writing samples

- Luxury brand experience preferred
