Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate general contract-related matters across NBC Sports Group’s various networks and platforms. This position will also support attorneys and non-attorneys in the preparation, drafting and review of such contracts. In addition, the position will support production with rights clearances for NBC Sports Group programming.
 
Responsibilities:
Draft talent agreements under attorney supervision
Draft and review hotel, golf course, and equipment agreements
Manage contract workflow for all agreements by preparing execution copies, collecting signatures, and saving fully-executed documents to document management system
Communicate deal terms of agreements with relevant parties (i.e., regional sports networks, talent, programming, finance, etc.)
Assist attorneys with paralegal work, including definitions checks, section reference checks, and document preparation
Assist with generation of summary documents and tables
Secure clip clearances for NBC Sports Group entities by fielding requests from production and reaching out to third parties to secure footage, pricing, and agreement terms
Compile and distribute footage reports as required by rights and license agreements
Support legal team on other projects and business priorities as required

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a business or legal setting


Additional Qualifications
Extremely detail-oriented, accurate and organized
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
Proficiency in MS Office applications
