Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Job Summary: The Coordinator for Wellness and Work-Life is responsible for various administrative and program functions as directed by the Manager of Wellness and Work Life. Responsibilities include program coordination, program oversight development, research and reporting, staff and employee training and education. This position provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of multiple wellness and work life programs, services and events.

Additional Department Summary: Wellness and Work-Life provides programs, services and activities related to improving the health and well-being of The University of Alabama employees.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree and some experience in employee health and wellness program operations and/or developing and implementing programs for a wellness program; OR a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in employee health and wellness program operations and/or developing and implementing programs for a wellness program.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and experience with graphic design and website software and applications.

Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of experience in employee health and wellness program operations or in a position providing programs for a wellness program or related program.
