Credit Risk Strategy VP
A new group within the Credit Risk Office at Barclays has recently been formulated to provide further strategic support for the Barclaycard US portfolio.The Credit Risk Strategy VP will be responsible for developing recommendations to achieve better risk resiliency using customer level information and models.
What will you be doing?
•Monitoring credit portfolios to identify emerging credit trends and uncover new risk patterns
•Developing analytical recommendations using cutting edge analytics into BUS that would cover new data sources, new methodologies and new infrastructure tools
•Identifying and rolling out analytic testing and capabilities with other CRO teams
•Providing and analyzing external relevant economic indicators and benchmarking with competitors
•Identifying more precise and timely broad spectrum benchmarking capabilities for the portfolios
What we’re looking for:
•Master’s degree in quantitative discipline required (e.g. Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics)
•8+ years of analytical or equivalent experience required in consumer financial services
Skills that will help you in the role:
•Graduate studies or Masters required
•Risk management experience across the credit life cycle for various products
•In-depth understanding of Cards and installment loans’ P&Ls
•Proven record in problem solving and business innovation required
