Solutions is seeking a
Denial Management Account
Representative located
in Corinth, MS.
The
Denial Management Account Representative is responsible for investigating and resolving
insurance denial referrals.
The duties include researching and
analyzing denial data and coordinating denial recovery. This position is highly
focused on the identification, analysis and research of the root cause of
denials and the development of corrective action plans for resolution of
insurance processing errors and denials.
Specific duties include:
Prioritize activities to work overturns in a timely
manner to alleviate untimely filings
Identify and pursue opportunities for improvements in
denial performance
Research rejections included in EOBs for resolution and
file appropriately
Categorize denials to assign tasks or personally work
to overturn denials
Requirements:
Passing score on typing assessment is required (must
type 35+ wpm)
Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD9 coding is required
Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology is
required
Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices
is preferred
Experience in a medical office setting is preferred
Call Center experience is preferred
Knowledge of Workers Compensation and/or Denials is
preferred
Knowledge working with electronic health records
(EHR/EMR) or healthcare related computer systems is preferred
Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA
regulations is preferred
Organized; sets priorities; meets deadlines
Ability to work independently
Education and/or
Experience
High school diploma is
required. Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
