What You'll Do:
The User Experience Leader role is mission critical to helping build (strategy, research, design, innovation, implement, maintain, optimize) a UI/UX practice for the enterprise networking business. A successful candidate will have the ability to define a vision and strategy for the future of the user experience for Cisco clients that inspires the organization to achieve that vision.Contributing with team of UX designers and testing experts, this is a role that will challenge you to help lead the team's workload and also to participate in it. Working hand-in-hand with the product and engineering teams, you are responsible for identifying and crafting solutions which serve Cisco clients' needs, goals and requirements for a seamless experience.You will be responsible for creating and delivering a Cisco signature experience for clients.

The future of networking with ACI is about providing a network that is deployed, monitored, and managed in a fashion that supports DevOps and rapid application change. ACI does so through the reduction of complexity and a common policy framework that can automate provisioning and managing of resources.Cisco seeks a Software Engineer to define, design and build a flexible, scalable framework for the new data center network with Cisco Nexus Switches
This role will work on a groundbreaking data center switching/routing product. We are looking for someone like you who thrives in a dynamic start like environment. The work involves design and development in customized networking environment for some key system software. You will be part of a diverse team responsible for delivering quality code for large complex systems requirements.
Who You Are
Responsibilities:
Build exceptional, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings.
Thoroughly create diagrams, wireframes, detailed visual mockups and prototypes to communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
Practice user-centered design by participating in user research and incorporating data, customer feedback, and technical constraints/opportunities.
Collaborate with other UX designers to evolve existing patterns for new initiatives.
Work closely with a team of Product Managers and Designers (UI/UX) to create an intuitive, cohesive and seamless user experience across all products.
Collaborate with Product Management to influence product strategy and roadmap.
Work with the Engineering team to ensure technical business needs are met while maintaining a strong focus on the user experience.
Advocate and be the voice of Cisco's customers in the Company's product development process.
Distill complex problems and propose simple, elegant solutions.
Create a signature experience for Cisco software and solutions that are aligned to the Company's brand values.

Minimum Qualifications:
A portfolio and samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered, customer-focused design solutions
2+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in design, human-centered design (HCD) or human-computer interaction (HCI), or 6+ years equivalent professional experience
Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team to ship products for mobile and desktop.
Experience with a variety of design tools including Sketch, Axure, Flinto, and Invision.
