Fantastic Opporutunity for an IT Administrator with 6 - 18 Months experience in a commercial environment to join a really exciting FinTech business which has enjoyed huge growth and is now based from fantastic offices based in the heart of London.

The Department

The Service Desk department is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to all business users. The department is also responsible for resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently, including a broad range of queries from setting up an email account to system diagnostics and cloud based technology administration, plus enhancing and developing the IT provision extended within the business.

The Position

The post holder will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide backup and support to the Service Desk team of engineers and Head of Infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the user account infrastructure, licenses, asset inventory, desktop operating systems and cloud telephony solutions, plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects, activities and cloud based infrastructure. There may be an element of travel involved in the role.

Reporting to

This role reports directly to the Global Head of Infrastructure

Duties/Areas of Responsibility

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility;

- Processing starter and leaver requests in accordance with Tech & HR requirements and procedures
- Hardware procurement and PC configuration
- Asset and license management
- Documentation and knowledge base formation / administration
- Call recording management and administration
- Completing internal user moves
- Providing training to end users
- Undertaking small to medium-sized IT projects


- Provide assistance and support to colleagues in IT-related matters
- Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers at all times

Required experience

- Understanding of the Windows and/or Mac, Chrome or Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of Google applications such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets & Slides
- Basic understanding of Internet and cloud technologies
