The Digital Content Manager is the hands-on manager of the web pages, social media and short and long-term digital strategies for COZI TV, the national acquisition-based TV network within the NBC Owned Stations Group.
Manage the development, activation, upkeep and advancement of all COZI TV social media initiatives across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and mobile
Maintain the website for COZI TV
Collaborate with COZI TV producers to promote brand awareness and network tune-in via social media.
Work with research and use analytic tools to track and report on engagement, response and general effectiveness of all initiatives
Hands-on involvement in the social and digital marketing of COZI TV; generate ongoing content and engagement ideas including on-line stunts, strategic placement of Facebook and other digital ads, and development of digital partnerships
Work with a budget to plan out social boosting campaigns that will deliver the most ROI
Create regular on-line newsletters for email marketing
Conceptualize and execute online campaigns, contests, stunts, programming alerts
Provide regular long-term social media strategy and track technological innovations
Manage troubleshooting of any technical issues relating to all social digital efforts
Bachelor’s degree in television, communications, journalism or liberal arts field preferred.
Minimum of three years of social media and/or marketing or communications experience.
Passion for social media and thorough skills and strategic understanding of social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and You Tube.
Computer literacy required (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
Basic ability with video editing (Final Cut X) a plus.
Ability to juggle a variety of content, manage many details, complete multiple daily tasks and meet deadlines
Proven effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple groups/levels in an organization.
Fluent knowledge of Content Management System (CMS); knowledge of MPX and Clickability a plus.
Interest and enthusiasm for comedy and retro television a plus.
Strong communication and writing skills; demonstrated ability to write with clarity and succinctness as well as with wit and humor.
Keen ability to express creative ideas and contribute to developing innovative concepts.
Strong collaboration skills and “team player” attitude
