Coordinates the campus emergency program. Shared Services: manage security for the PCC.

Primary Responsibilities01. Develops, implements, and administers programs to protect property from theft, sabotage, violence, or other situations that endanger employees or organization facilities., 02. Coordinate the campus emergency preparedness program in conjunction with community entities (HRI, PCC, LCA and the Hawaii LDS Temple), 03. Inspects premises to determine security needs; studies physical conditions, observes activities, and confers with staff of organization to strategize needed interventions; notifies client and/or upper management of security weaknesses., 04. Manages the installation and operation of electronic security systems, such as closed circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, electric eyes, and outdoor perimeter and microwave alarms., 05. Direct the University's Risk Management Program; oversee the ergonomics program; collect and maintain all certificates of insurance for the University; submit all vehicle and property insurance claims to the insurance carrier and investigate claims; Review and approve special events requests to ensure appropriate liability coverage and/or waivers exist, 06. Coordinates communication and cooperates with law enforcement when necessary; reports criminal information to authorities and testifies in court., 07. Serve as campus designated fire marshal; accountable for traffic/parking and crowd control, 08. Monitors and analyzes costs; prepares and administers department budget., 09. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job DetailsMust be a graduate of a US Law enforcement academy.
