This is a key leadership role within the Payment Integrity Fraud, Waste, Abuse and Error capability.   We are looking for a strong leader who is collaborative, a self-starter, can take ownership/ accountability and drive results. This role will involve managing and working with distributed, global teams with multiple stakeholders. This person needs to be comfortable dealing with complexity and ambiguity.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and management over multiple agile scrum teams responsible for a multi-million dollar portfolio of software applications across the payment integrity program.
Work directly with Sr. Business and IT leaders to support the growth and optimization of Payment Integrity
Drive strategic product and technology roadmaps to create solutions that delight our customers.
Empower software delivery teams to rapidly deliver software through the use of automation and “everything-as-code” best practices.
Ensure application stability with dev-ops best practices for rapid problem triage and resolution.
Stay abreast of leading-edge technologies in the industry, evaluating emerging software technologies and evangelizing their adoption.
Be the technical decision maker to drive the portfolio toward modern best practices while meeting customer’s needs.
Ensuring on schedule, on budget, on scope delivery within client quality goals
Financial management
Encourage the growth of direct and indirect reports through skills development, objectives and goal setting; Holds direct reports accountable for meeting performance standards and departmental performance goals; mentors staff; measures staff performance and completes regular performance reviews and ranking
Adapting to and remaining effective in a changing environment

Required Qualifications:
BS / BA in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of agile software product delivery and management experience
1+ year experience delivering software to a Public and/or Private cloud utilizing IaaS and/or PaaS cloud paradigms
Proven record of software application delivery focusing on open source commodity solutions.
Experience with software automation including test automation, deployment automation, database management automation, operations automation.
Experience leading development using modern software engineering and product development tools including Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, DevOps etc.
A record of successful delivery of software products/large multi-million dollar programs in a managerial/leadership capacity
Broad understanding of technology and how it’s used to drive business growth and/or efficiencies
Demonstrated ability to apply process, architecture and software engineering principles, methods and tools to business challenges
Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization including senior technology and business leaders
Results-oriented individual with strong coaching, decision making, influencing, mentoring, negotiation, problem solving and situational analysis skills
Global team experience
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with claims, coordination of benefits and risk solutions a plus
Experience with data and analytic focused software
