This position will be responsible for ensuring ISG Sales and Distribution maintains a shared agenda (and prioritization) with its key partners (Marketing, Product and Service).  There are three separate roles, one aligned to each of the three functions (Marketing, Product and Service). 
This individual will ensure that all parties are focused on and executing against agreed upon, prioritized initiatives and other bodies of work.  The incumbent will serve as the 'go to' for all emerging issues within S&D and the respective partner, representing Sales and Distribution leadership, and triaging issues as they arise, as well as building processes or approaches to solve them.  This role will keep lines of communication open and running between S&D and key partners to avoid "fire drills" and prevent emerging concerns from becoming burning platform issues. 
As a result of these actions/efforts, the incumbent will enable execution through early problem resolution and engaging appropriate Sales and Distribution leaders as needed.  This point person will also represent senior executives on committees, allowing them to focus on key initiatives. This role will ensure clear, concise, and cohesive communication from S&D to our partners thus reducing additional work on their end.  This individual will also work closely with Sales Operations to ensure important initiatives are prioritized through Operating Council forums in both businesses and the correct resources assigned from S&D for the work.
Successful incumbents will possess exceptional relationship skills with a significant and deep level of knowledge of the disciplines (Marketing, Product and/or Service) they are liaising with.  They must be well versed in industry processes as well as technology platforms and solutions in order to have conversations and drive decisions that will require expert knowledge while creating high levels of confidence.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Represents Senior Sales and Distribution Leadership in numerous forums
Troubleshoots emerging problems and holds meetings to solve for issues without involvement of Senior ISG S&D Leadership
Meets regularly with key partners to understand what they are working on/prioritizing to ensure it aligns with agreed upon priorities/projects
Conducts rapid root cause analyses as appropriate to ensure issues are quickly identified and solutions triaged
Ensures key constituents have effective communication processes in place that ensures just in time information is with the right people at the right time
Ensures communication flow within S&D is effective, leveraging existing forums where they are able to provide important updates
Partners with Service leadership to achieve desired results, while serving as the point person within the Sales organization
Aggregates feedback from sales teams and works with the appropriate business unit to drive change
Keeps Senior Leadership apprised of project updates and statuses 
Represents the goals and needs of the Sales and Distribution Organization, while informing their prioritization with their respective client group (Service, Marketing, or Product)
Qualifications
 
 
Five to Ten Years of progressively responsible experience in discipline/business (Marketing, Product or Service)
Has held a leadership role in Financial Services within a Marketing, Product or Service Organization
Must be familiar with Technology platforms and solutions that are in the marketplace today that could be leveraged to solve issues or improve processes
Successful candidate should have worked in service operations in a Financial Services firm and possesses a depth of knowledge of discipline
Significant Operational and Distribution Model Knowledge
Able to have respectful and challenging conversations with senior leaders
Able to engage groups of people to work and address issues collaboratively
Effective at navigating and working through chaos
Seasoned professional that can navigate challenging conversations to arrive at an optimal position at a rapid pace
Ability to organize and execute on multiple projects simultaneously
