The division accomplishes this by establishing and continuing mutually beneficial relationships that result in donations of time and financial resources that support and empower the future leaders of our generations. Job Description The Division of Advancement is looking to add a Donor Relations and Advancement Services Coordinator for the team, to report to the Assistant Vice President for this unit. In this position, you will learn about the different career prospects available in higher education fundraising, with potential opportunities for your own career advancement. This position is responsible for providing executive, administrative, project management and editing support to the unit and interacting with offices including the President's, Vice President's and/or external constituencies while maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and protocol.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Maintains calendar for the Assistant Vice President and schedules appointments for directors.
* Maintains clear organization of electronic files and paper files.
* Maintains budget spreadsheets for the team.
* Manages purchasing and travel for the team.
* Creates and maintains a project management system for communications and marketing needs for the team.
* Provides special event support as needed (some evening and weekends as needed).
* Assists annual giving team with editing content, scrubbing data lists and other duties as assigned.
* Assists the donor relations team with editing content and managing donor stewardship activities as assigned.
* Assists advancement services as needed in reviewing data and other duties as assigned.
* Assists the prospect development and research team as needed.
* General duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following Bachelor's Degree and five years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. * Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
* Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
* Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
* Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
* Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.
* Supervisory skills. Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Ability to prioritize and multitask at a high level.
* Detail oriented.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar CRM preferred.
* Project management experience.
* Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills.
* Prior experience in non-profit or higher education fundraising preferred.
