Lead Manufacturing Controls Engineering activity for Assembly or Machining operations
Apply engineering principles to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices
Implement PLC programming changes to various manufacturing equipment supporting launch, continuous improvement and crisis maintenance events
Work with the maintenance & production teams to resolve day to day manufacturing concerns
Work with the quality team to improve or develop new error proofing strategies
Strong working knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming
Strong working knowledge of electrical hardware including vision systems, nut runners, robot systems, power distribution, I/O distribution and other machine electrical components\Familiarity with assembly stations, press applications, other manufacturing systems
Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays when required, as well as rotating shifts

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of controls engineering experience in a manufacturing
1+ years of Microsoft Office experience

Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or Computer Science
Siemens CNC experience preferred
Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in ONE FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
