Job Summary

Seeking an intermediate level environmental engineer to provide air quality compliance services to key clients and to participate in other environmental projects and tasks as needed. The qualified applicant will utilize the Air Program Information Management System (APIMS) and the Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health (EESOH) systems. Both are web-based enterprise systems and they support the tracking and management of air quality, chemical tracking and waste management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the implementation of key strategic initiatives for improving air quality compliance at DoD installations.

- Assist DoD air quality professionals in resolving complex compliance issues, including their use of required data management systems.

- Research, review, and analyze relevant air quality policy and regulations.

- Calculate air emissions according to scientific and regulatory standards.

- Prepare air reports and permits for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

- Interact with clients on project tasks in a professional and highly competent manner.

- Participate in other environment-related projects and tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

BA / BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in Air Quality / Compliance Engineering
