PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: This position will provide support to the PSI Business Units with respect to the EPICOR Enterprise ERP solution; this requires knowledge and resolution of both short-term and long-term issues.It is a requirement this person maintains a high level of understanding of the business needs and system functionality to provide the strategic direction to support the overall business, company and corporate objectives.It is mandatory this position understands the integration of all the modules to help troubleshoot the immediate day to day issues and long term strategic objectives of the business.It is required this position acts as a primary "change agent" for the business when new processes are defined and require support and training of the end users.This position must maintain a good working relationship with all Epicor BA's to ensure proper integration of process changes and functionality between the different groups.
Specific Functions for the Business Analyst Finance role: This position requires an in-depth knowledge of all finance and accounting modules of EPICOR.It requires the ability to make changes to the software to understand and set up the GL, AP, AR and the COA and any associated system requirements for Finance.It is mandatory all cost modules of EPICOR are understood and have experience to set up the functional requirements for the business needs.
In addition, the candidate must understand Manufacturing Accounting and be able to set up all the integration paths for a seamless and automatic set up of the requirements.
This position is required to know how to write, test and implement SQL statements, to provide knowledge for mass updates and to help other functional areas troubleshoot issues as they arise.This position will be required to understand the EPICOR table structure, to write reports in EPICOR or the applicable report generation tool.Experience creating reports and dashboards starting with the Business Activity Query tool is mandatory.
Travel is required when needed to support the end users, introduce new functionality, train and to understand the business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education and/or Background) REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years experience in one or multiple number of the Epicor modules (versions 9.0 to 10.0 or above). Financial/Accounting Distribution (Procurement, Sales Order Management, Inventory) Manufacturing Strong business process knowledge (specific to the assigned functional area At least one full implementation experience with multiple site configuration set up Bachelor's degree or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational, coordination, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills Strong leadership skills Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to prepare SQL statements using SQL Understands EPICOR integration methodology and ability to understand and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
