What part will you play?

DC Comics seeks an Executive Assistant I for the Editorial-DC Comics department. This position will provide administrative support for New Publishing Initiatives & Talent Development department in addition to the Vice President, New Publishing Initiatives & Talent Development.
These responsibilities include answering telephones, taking messages, scheduling meetings and appointments, coordinating travel arrangements, opening and distributing mail, maintaining files and preparing correspondence.
Also provides basic support to department team members, including making travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, planning meetings.
Prepares and maintains development and publishing schedules for the various imprints.
Reviews and presents talents submissions to VP.
Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

What do we require from you?
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years experience in administration or customer service preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to obtain and maintain accurate information on a computerized database required.
Must be flexible and able to work under time constraints with strong attention to detail.
May be required to work overtime as necessary.
