What you’ll be doing...
You will be responsible for monitoring, testing, maintaining and repairing of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, alarming and monitoring systems per specifications and operational procedures, in technical facilities. You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of the physical facilities structures, security and peripheral systems. Responsible for emergency power and physical facility remedies at all technical facilities, a first responder during natural disasters or any other facilities threat to network safety. This job involves working with electricity (48-13.2KV), and with hazardous materials, working at heights and in adverse weather conditions at times. This job can involve extensive physical exertion, emergency responder variable conditions, extended overtime during emergencies, and extensive windshield time and travel within an assigned geography.
Will work outdoors in seasonal weather/changing conditions and perform required duties.
Deploys back-up power generators at remote sites Performs Preventive Maintenance on all facilities HVAC, DC/AC power equipment.
Will work Standby/On-call rotation, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet support and project requirements.
Will determine next step actions for the troubleshooting and resolution of basic products with some direction from more tenured technicians or vendor support.
Will effectively communicate trouble status.
For HVAC, experience is common for extremely complex mechanical facilities with integrated controls, VFD, chiller plants.
For less integrated mechanical systems meaning technician should be able to address problems and conduct PMs.
Understands heating, cooling and emergency power availability through troubleshooting and demand repair of HVAC, DC Battery Plants, Generators, UPS, including redundancy and symbiotic configuration diagnostics for assigned locations.

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Even better if you have:

A degree.
Four or more years of experience with HVAC and/or Power Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of non-vendor/platform specific training and experience.
Earned at least one of the preferred qualifications certifications or related certification in an infrastructure related discipline.
Journeyman or Master Electrician
Generator Mechanic
Certified Refrigerant Technician
Eligibility to become DOT Certified.
Experience working with electricity (48-13.2KV).
Experience driving large pick-up trucks and towing portable generators up to 18,000 pounds.
Experience with HVAC, DC Battery Plants, Generators, UPS including redundancy and symbiotic configuration diagnostics.
