Accountemps is seeking candidates to join a fast-growing, dynamic team, for a Financial Analyst position that will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term temporary employment opportunity and is located in the White Plains, New York, area. You might be right for this Financial Analyst position if you're looking for work where you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Your duties will also include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.

- Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans

- Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making

- Maintain weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting

- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide decision making support

- Flexible individual comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations

- Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

- Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

- Amass and monitor forecasting reports

- Research performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

- Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting

- Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience suggested)

- Deep understanding of forecasting

- Solid understanding of budget forecasting

- Foundational knowledge in analytics

- Knowledge of financial analysis

- Cash management experience highly desired
