Financial Services Office, Advisory - Accounts & Sectors - Manager

(Multiple Positions),

Assist with leading risk management risk methodology projects while consistently delivering quality client services in order to monitor progress, manage risks and manage client service delivery expectations. Contribute to the generation of new business opportunities for Risk Management methodologies – develop long-term client relationships, understand the changing business and regulatory environment and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Demonstrate subject-matter advisor competencies leveraging in-depth technical capabilities and industry insights in risk and regulatory matters – help drive the development of solutions and identification of opportunities for client matters across all risk domains. Recommend ways to control or reduce risk. Analyze areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of organizations. Document, and ensure communication of, key risks.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 - 45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
Must have 4 years of direct experience with banking and capital markets, asset management or insurance industries, with a specific focus on enterprise risk management, risk governance and risk management life cycle
Must have 4 years of experience in all of the following: process orientation including process documentation, mapping and redesign; business requirements documentation, root cause analysis, and organizational re-design.
Must have 4 years of experience with one or a combination of the following:
- current state/future-state assessments
- business process redesign
- target operating models
Must have 4 years of experience in leading medium to large-sized, complex financial services projects, managing quality of deliverables, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
Must have 4 years of experience in any financial products including derivatives, equities, or fixed income.
Must have 4 years of direct experience working in any of the following combination of areas: key regulations, including the Enhanced Prudential Standards; Heightened Standards; or Dodd-Frank and the resulting implications to enterprise risk governance requirements.
Must have 4 years of experience with trade life cycle, and key controls and reconciliations, starting from transaction capture to aggregation/consolidation, through financial and regulatory reporting.
Must have 4 years of experience in current regulatory reform and other leading industry issues which must include experience in a combination of any of the following areas:
- regulatory capital and liquidity management
- financial and regulatory reporting
- capital markets product knowledge
- operations and related supporting processes
- change management and capital markets application implementation
Requires travel up to 30%, in order to meet client needs.
