Financial Services Risk Management Advisor, Financial Services Risk Management - Traded Products Risk & Capital - Financial Services Office (Manager)

Advise clients on Financial Services Risk Management issues facing the financial services sector, focusing on Traded Products Risk and Capital. Provide clients with strategic recommendations to identify, measure and manage traded products risk and capital. Focus on financial risk identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of exposures to interest rate, commodity, equity and foreign exchange movements. Provide strategic and tactical advice on the implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements (e.g., Foreign Banking Organizations, Basel III, Comprehensive Capital Adequacy and Review (CCAR), Resolution and Recovery Planning (RRP), Uncleared Margin, Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB). Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the Financial Services industry. Alternatively, must have a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or a related field and 4 years of work experience in the Financial Services industry.
Must have 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following:
- Experience at a financial institution (investment bank, securities firm, broker/dealer, regulatory agency, and/or capital markets division of an insurance company) ; and/or
- Experience at a consulting firm in risk management, analytics, product control, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and/or control functions.
Must have 4 years of experience in risk management related functions, including at least one of the following: risk governance, risk appetite, risk identification, risk monitoring and measurements, risk reporting, capital management, limits management, model risk management, and/or stress testing.
Must have 2 years of implementation experience with key US and global regulatory issues facing the financial services industry (including at least one of the following: Basel II/II.5/III market and counterparty credit risk, Dodd Frank OTCD reform, or CCAR).
Must have 2 years of experience in product control, including profit & loss analysis, valuation, and front to back controls.
Must have 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting, including fair value measurements and hedge accounting.
Requires domestic and regional travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
