Description

The Frac Support Technician will provide hands-on technical and operational support for Cameron equipment during Frac operations. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and operating Cameron's rental assets on Customer's locations, including greasing units, hydraulic actuators and frac valves with troubleshooting as required.
 

Technician will be the sole operator of Cameron valves on location and will be expected to operate those valves under both Cameron and customer procedural guidelines. Promote Cameron products and service lines as a representative of the company.

Working on remote locations, in inclement weather and in varying condition.
Shift changes will follow the frac crew's shift change schedule. You will be expected to show up on time for shift change and conduct a thorough turn over based on current operations. Shifts may extend due to extenuating circumstances if there is a need for an extra technician on location.
Ability to drive long distances, work in the field for the entirety of the hitch, on either day shift or night and follow rigorous safety guidelines from corporate and our customers.

High school diploma or GED.
​One (1) year plus wellhead or related field experience; will be installing and maintaining wellhead equipment at client locations
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic internet usage.
Strong mechanical aptitude/ ability. Use of hand and power tools.
Work experience with hydraulic systems.
Demonstrated ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications.
Effective communication skills with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees.
Comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions including extreme cold and confined spaces.
Good driving record and valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a DOT medical exam
Preferred Qualifications:

Direct experience with frac or flowback operations.
