Job Description

This position pays a base plus commission. Base pay is in the low $60K range. Additionally, the company provides excellent benefits which include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO and Holidays. Looking for an experienced broker who can bring a book of business with them. Must be self-motivated and able to work within a team. The job responsibilities include managing a current book of accounts as well as cold calling to bring in new business. Work in an office environment with the majority of your time spent on the phone and using a computer. The standard work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, though some flexibility required.

A minimum of 18 months truck brokering experience.
A book of business to bring along.
Thorough knowledge of transportation logistics and DOT standards and regulations.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Computer literate and familiar with general office procedures.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to pass a criminal background check (charges are handled on a case-by-case basis).
