Candidates will be expected to balance development/design/testing activities with developing, mentoring, and leading a small to medium sized group of junior developers.
We are looking for someone to sit between the client's team and our team of junior developers. Someone that can appreciate once being a Jr. Developer themselves and can use that experience in mentoring a team of Juniors. The person will be responsible for taking the directives from the client and then to share it with the Jr. Developers.
In this role you will be working directly with the client to help consult on the development of a Front-End Portal being acting as a SME. Although a deep understanding & knowledge base in Front-End Development is necessary to have success this isn't a Lead Developer role. Maximizing the performance of the Jr. Developers on the team through knowledge transfer, leadership, & guidance is critical.
This position requires up to date pertinent knowledge of leading-edge technologies. Successful candidates will have kept up with the most up to date technologies. This person will also be responsible for implementing Tech One's Technology Workforce Solutions in collaboration with the client team.
Required Leadership Skills
Communication skills are paramount
Demonstrated experience leading small to medium teams of developers
Ability to lead by example
Front end web technologies including Typescript, CSS3, HTML5
Developer/Build tools including GIT and Jenkin
Experience consuming RESTful web services
Familiar with such concepts as: Containerization (ie. Kubernetes) and Orchestration (ie.Docker) Does not have to be a SME.
QA and Automated Testing on any relevant platform
NoSQL (Dynamo DB)
Front end build tools, e.g. Gulp, Grunt
Angular, Bootstrap & NodeJS preferred
