Overall Purpose of role
As Head of Digital Consumer Bank (DCB) Marketing, this role is responsible for driving the delivery of best-in-class marketing across our Branded product portfolio. This role will develop the marketing strategies required to deliver organic business growth within budget and investment hurdles at an agreed risk tolerance.  Specific responsibilities include defining key business priorities to deliver business enabling technologies that enhance the customer experience, i.e. mobile apply, data management, targeting, and new product launches.   
 
Your Role (Key Accountabilities)
Strategic leadership of DCB Marketing to enable the U.S. Consumer Bank to meet its annual targets and objectives. 
Responsible for vision, purpose, overall strategy development and execution including all channels of the DCB
Ensure the strategy and business plans in place are financially sound and effective, to deliver against required goals and ensure appropriate measurements and metrics are in place to validate performance for a complex business unit encompassing multiple products, multiple credit segments, as well as multiple channels
Review, revise and implement processes that support the delivery of top business results while building inherent efficiencies within the U.S. business
Provide timely, accurate and complete management information that enables decisions to be made quickly and implemented at speed.
Support management reporting processes and reporting obligations
Ensure compliance with internal and external governance and control requirements
Takes personal accountability for inspiring and bringing out the best from the team through effective line management, supporting a high performance culture and helping to deliver the US Consumer Bank strategy
 
 
Basic Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s Degree
15+ years marketing experience
 
 
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Financial Services Experience Preferred
MBA Preferred
Direct marketing experience across multiple channels, direct mail, digital, IBTM, face to face
Marketing Strategy skills required, including acquisition and customer marketing
Budget ownership and management experience
Ability to multi-task and work well with vendors, partners, other bank colleagues (Legal, Mktg Ops, Technology, Sourcing, etc.)
Strong Oral and Written
