This San Diego, California Customer Service Representative position could be for you, if you're available for a temporary to hire opportunity.

Your responsibilities

- Contribute accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

- Handle incoming telephone calls (50+ per day inbound calls!

- Outbound calls (50+ per day) for appointment scheduling, reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling.

- New patient registration, schedules patients for office appointments based on physician and patient need

- Prepares all appropriate forms for visits in advance including patient information and consent forms

- Verifies insurance eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance via telephone and website.

Preferred Experience

- Bilingual Spanish, Vietnamese, or Tagalog a plus!

- Basic knowledge of healthcare benefits and insurance plans

- Experience with multi-line phone system

- Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods

- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

- Data entry with accuracy (preferably ability to type 50 WPM)
