High Yield Sales Analyst

We currently have an opening for a Junior Credit Salesperson at the Analyst level on our High Yield Credit Sales team. This individual will sit in our New York Office for a few months of training, but will eventually sit in our Boston office long term. The High Yield Sales team engages in transactions in corporate bonds, loans, and derivatives (credit default swaps). They partner with Trading, Syndicate, Strategy and Research to facilitate the buying/selling of these securities with institutional investors.
What will you be doing?
• Providing back up support to senior salespeople with priority accounts; will grow an individual account list over time
• Helping write morning and evening trading recaps focused on trading flows, trade ideas, and research
• Assisting the sales team with the Onboarding process and with trade bookings
• Managing Client relationships
• Discussing/developing trade ideas and capital markets trends by leveraging the firm’s full menu of resources, while also helping to manage risk on behalf of the trading desk.

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of fixed income securities is helpful, but can be learned
• 2 years of sales experience with a financial services firm
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
