The Optum Partner Services (OPS) Human Capital Service Advisor provides HR support to the OPS providers and the Human Capital teams that sit within each of the businesses.  Duties include developing and implementing efficient solutions for HR services, facilitating the onboarding and orientation of new providers into the business, and serving as the liaison between the Human Capital teams and the OPS COEs in researching and resolving HR issues.  
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the Pacific Time Zone as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate the pre-employment and on-boarding for new providers. Ensure onboarding processes are implemented within the business and coordinate onboarding agenda for each provider.  Work closely with Human Capital in the business and business leaders to create and deliver a smooth onboarding process for the provider
Provide generalist support to research and resolves HR issues related to OPS policies and procedures including benefits, PTO, CME, etc.  Serve as liaison between the Human Capital teams in the business and the OPS COEs and working directly with providers as delegated by Human Capital
Serve as the OPS Portal administrator which includes tracking usage of the portal; recommend portal updates and changes to content and design to improve value to providers and the businesses
Assist OPS Human Capital Partner with projects to improve delivery of HR policies and services to the OPS population
Work with Providers to help resolve issues related to UHG / OPS systems access and basic technical problems
Represent OPS on the acquisition and integration team
Utilizes high level critical thinking and problem solving skills on a daily basis to resolve issues.
Works well independently and is proactive to resolve issues
Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
2+ years of experience in Human Resources related role
Intermediate Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook 
Preferred Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree 
Familiarity with healthcare industry, preferably in a clinical setting
