Imaging Technologists administer x-rays to patients of all ages, operate imaging equipment, and prepare exam rooms, equipment supplies, and medication needed to perform imaging procedures. They provide quality care for all patients using the imaging modalities available. They perform both emergency and routine patient care with both inpatients and outpatients, utilizing mobile x-rays at the patients' bedside, in the ER, and in the Operating Room.

No two days look the same for an Imaging Technologist. They take the input volume of patients from the Emergency Department and work with outpatients at the hospital. They perform chest X-rays, orthopedic X-rays, abdomen X-rays, and more, assisting patients to the front door or next nursing unit when the procedure is complete. Imaging Technologists work in a fast-paced environment with variety and growth opportunities.



- Graduate from an accredited school for radiologic technologist
- Associates degree preferred


- Registered radiographer (ARRT-R) in good standing
- Active license in radiography from IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety
- Maintain BLS CPR certification
