Job Purpose

The jobholder will provide expert support for the Mars DT servers and cloud platform global infrastructure, housing some critical business systems at Mars Inc. She/he will lead architecture/technical activities in this area as well work in our off-shore service management and project activities.

 

She/he will be working closely with other technical associates and contractors as part of a global team to complete the technical day-to-day activities. The primary focus will be on Windows Server, Cloud platform and VMware technologies during the Americas region time zone creating a high level of automation to enable a larger scope scalability, defining, agreeing and deployment improvements in capacity, performance and lifecycle areas. In addition there will be close interaction with key customers, mostly application support teams, help desk, and other technical teams primarily in the same region but also across the globe.

 

This position is fully accountable for maintaining and improving the current infrastructure while bringing automation and optimization.
