IoT Solution Test and Automation EngineerRaleigh, North Carolina

What You'll Do The IoT Solutions team builds end-to-end solutions, which include, Cisco IoT Networking, Cisco Kinetic - IoT Software Platform, Cisco core products and 3rd party products. IoT Solutions seeks a network solution test engineer with strong test automation skills to develop and maintain Cisco Validated Designs (CVD). In this role you'll design, build, test, automate and provide guidance for the industry solutions on which you work. Who You'll Work WithOur team of skilled engineers and architects are busy developing and validating solutions for key IoT customers and industries. We work with business leaders, field teams, services and partners, to develop solutions which help our customers take on critical business problems. Who You Are You will demonstrate your deep experience in programming and scripting as the automation nucleus of the IoT Solutions engineering team. Your capabilities and interests should expand beyond just programming. They will include a deep technical knowledge of networking technologies with a strong focus on end-to-end network architecture. You will have hands on knowledge and experience implementing these architectures with your keen networking and software skills. You will also have an open and engaging collaboration style with a high level of energy and initiative.

Our requirements for this role:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar with at least 2 years of experience in software engineering, test automation, network testing, or support.
- Extensive experience in Java and REST APIs, Python, JavaScript, and/or Unix Shell scripting
- Exposure to XML, JSON, Linux Containers/Docker, Jenkins, and GIT
- Strong network troubleshooting skills, attention to quality, end-to-end view of the network, routing & switching., Cisco IOS
- Cloud Native software development and developing in a CI/CD, DevOps model
- Excellent written & verbal interpersonal skills
