This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Central Office, 2414 Bull Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
Under general supervision, you will manage the agency'sTelepsychiatrydata communication circuits and equipment by coordinating all aspects of installation and maintenance.
You will manage the installation and maintenance ofMPLScircuits, Brocade and Cisco routers, Brocade switches, andPolycomhost site and endpoint video conferencing appliances and equipment.
You will coordinate with emergency departments and the agency's vendor to install video conferencing carts throughout the state in support of the DMH EDTelepsychiatrynetwork.
You must be able to identify and correct network communication problems.
You will install and maintain file and print servers for Community and EDTelepsychiatry.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Requirements: A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and experience in information technology systems or a related area. Relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

You must have knowledge of data and video communications, MPLS networks, VLAN tagging, Brocade/Cisco routers, and CSU/DSU configurations. You must have working knowledge of Solarwindssoftware and TCP/IP protocols.
