This position will be located in our San Jose, CA. This is a cutting-edge engineering group focusing on exciting cloud-based engineering challenges. We need additional talent just like you!
Responsibilities:
Create designs that fulfill functional requirements while ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability for the application
Own component software designed, documented, built, and deployed
Convert business requirements into technical requirements and communicate those goals effectively to your team
Work closely with other Lead Developers and Architects to define application APIs exposed to other internal or 3rd party applications
Fully automated unit tests as per Software Standards
Analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise
Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of industry experience with proficiency in Core Java programming for BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Architecture and design skills in OO analysis and Design Patterns
In-depth knowledge of algorithms, core software technologies, including server-side Java, and large-scale distributed systems
Strong knowledge of a high-traffic online service
Effective in working with strong technical teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
A “can-do” attitude to tackle challenging problems to meet aggressive milestones
Excellent coding skills, disciplined in unit testing and integration testing
Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment
