What you’ll be doing...
Collaboratively work on multiple large-scale projects with a high level of technical complexity that industry expertise and in-depth analysis will be required to ensure the right path is being pursued on behalf of the business units involved. The position will deploy OpenStack, assist to triage platform issues, document, coordinate, and support all escalation issues between operations and infrastructure. Additionally, will work closely with cross functional team to provide feedback and create remediations to resolve those issues. The position will advise on troubleshooting and the triage of problem reports, resolutions, and escalations as required.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
A degree.
Experience Deploying OpenStack.
Openstack deployment technologies (TripleO, MaaS, Juju).
Experience as support technician.
Experience working with KVM, libvirt, VMWare, or other virtualization technology.
Experienced Linux systems administration (prefer in Virtualized environment).
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell, Ruby, Perl, other).
Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
Experience working with solutions at scale.
Willingness to enhance team learning environment by providing and encouraging mentorship and technical leadership.
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Icinga2).
Experience working modern configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt).
Experience with distributed storage solutions (iSCSl, Ceph, Swift, other).
Experience with networking concepts and protocols (include SDN, NFV).
Contributions to open-source projects.
