Logistics Sales Manager

Our client is a fast growing transportation and logistics company and they've asked us to find a strong Sales Manager somewhere in the US to grow their new and existing customer base.

Responsibilities and KPIs:

• Corporate office is in the Midwest, but this person can work anywhere in the continental US from your home office

• Coordinate with the Director of Sales and Business Development on industry needs

• Research, identify, and secure potential new customers

• Communicate our business values and mission to current and potential customers

• Demonstrate the company's products and services to customers and prospects

• Assist with customer bids and marketing materials

• Evaluate and process RFPs & RFQs

• Travel up to 25% as needed

Qualifications and other stuff:

• OTR sales experience with FTL carriers with name recognition in the industry

• trucking/transportation/automotive industry experience

• Full truck load experience

• NAFTA experience

• JIT (just in time) experience

• Book of business

• Research, identify, and secure potential customers

• 3+ years of Sales experience

• Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Transportation industry & JIT Freight

• Prior experience within NAFTA

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

• Positive and professional demeanor

• Proficient at Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree, a plus

• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English), a plus

• Good communication skills

• Knowledge of logistics

Compensation particulars:

• Salary in $90K-$100K+ range

• OTE in $110K-$120K+ range, uncapped earnings
