The Loss Control Professional is responsible for inspecting and assessing the risk for various commercial insurance lines of business that can include Property, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, and Builders’ Risk.

Essential Duties and Requirements

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Schedule on-site surveys to assess risks
- Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients
- Provide recommendations to underwriter to control and/or correct potential loss producing conditions associated with those policies
- Manage all assignments appropriately and effectively, within a specific time frame
- Successfully secure customer appointments within specific territories
- Complete all inspections and reports within a timely manner Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

- Proven work experience as a Loss Control Inspector/Consultant
- Proven experience with risk assessments and loss control surveys Preferred Education and Experience:

- Commercial Lines Property/Casualty Loss Control
- Commercial Lines Property/Casualty Underwriting
- Commercial Lines Property/Casualty Claims Adjuster
- Commercial insurance inspections
- Fire and Life Safety Investigations/inspections
