Position Summary:

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Sales Representative responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new commercial/industrial Maintenance Agreements for our Chicagoland office.
This individual will be responsible to prospect, cold call, set new appointments and close agreements to acquire new customers.

Position Responsibilities:

- Prospecting for potential clients and building a continuing list of prospects to call on
- Appointment setting through cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.
- Develop and maintain sales contacts and sales activity in company's CRM
- Identify, qualify, and follow up on business opportunities in the assigned coverage area
- Telephone cold calling daily to gain new appointments
- Schedule new presentations with key decision makers on a weekly basis
- Perform site specific survey of existing mechanical systems and put together equipment lists
- Prepare, present and close maintenance agreements
- Establish long-term mutually beneficial business relationships
- Communication with Sales Manager regarding schedule, sales activity, estimates and proposals
- Provide existing clients with revised agreements as required or renew existing agreements
- Meeting established sales goals as defined in our sales representative plan
- Representative will perform above responsibilities exhibiting a professional friendly demeanor
- Representative will work together as part of our team so that issues can be avoided and/or quickly resolved in a professional manner, both inside and outside of our organization

Required Skills and Experience:

- Valid driver's license
- Self-motivated to achieve annual sales quota and company objectives
- Ability to travel within the assigned sales territory as needed
- Positive energy and enthusiasm to drive sales and company growth
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in conjunction with other team members
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills
- Must be self-motivated, confident and independent
- Computer skills using programs such as outlook, word, excel and CRM program
- Creative use of skills and resources to generate customer leads and appointments
